German-Japanese Symposium

On 4th May 2015, Federal Minister of Health, Hermann Gröhe and the Japanese Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, Yasuhisa Shiozaki, opened the German-Japanese Symposium in Berlin.

4 May 2015. The German-Japanese Symposium "Prevention in the Aging Society" took place from 4th to 5th 2015 at the Japanese-German Center Berlin (JDZB).

The topics discussed during the two-day symposium included: similarities and differences in prevention policies in Japan and Germany, health promotion and prevention in the workplace, dementia prevention, prevention in aging populations.

The Japanese-German Center Berlin was founded in 1985 and celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
