First German-Turkish Health Symposium

6 May 2015. Today, Federal Minister of Health, Hermann Gröhe and his Turkish counterpart, Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, agreed to deepen German-Turkish co-operation in the field of health.

The two ministers signed a Joint Declaration on the occasion of the first German-Turkish Health Symposium, which was opened today in Berlin by Parliamentary State Secretary Annette Widmann-Mauz.

Topics discussed at the symposium included: exchange among experts on the medical and long term care of persons of Turkish origin and co-operation among governmental and non-governmental health care institutions of both countries.
