International cooperation

Germany has internationally recognised formats and platforms in place that deepen and foster cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary exchange on experience, activities and potential solutions.

To be able to effectively shape Global Health, it takes regular, open and cross-sectoral exchange among the stakeholders involved. A special feature of Germany in this context is the diversity of non-state actors that are committed to resolving global health problems in Germany and with whom the Federal Government is engaged in regular exchange. The Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS)

The Partnership’s mission is to promote sustainable development by improving peoples’ health and social well-being. The Partnership aims to contribute to intensifying cooperation on improving health care provision in the Baltic region.
